Ronin Security Consultants is preparing for the launch of BSides Bozeman, the first community-driven cybersecurity conference of its kind in Montana, with plans to expand the model to Missoula in the future. As part of this project, students will support the development and refinement of a conference website and related digital assets that enable event promotion, ticketing integration, sponsor visibility, and attendee engagement.

The student team will work closely with Ronin Security Consultants to understand the technical and operational requirements of a cybersecurity conference, including timelines, content needs, and platform integrations (e.g., donation/ticketing tools).

This project offers students hands-on experience at the intersection of cybersecurity, web development, and project management, while helping Ronin Security Consultants accelerate outreach, improve user experience, and lay groundwork for future academic and industry partnerships in Montana’s cybersecurity ecosystem.

While the core backend infrastructure is already being developed internally, students will focus on front-end structure, content organization, usability, SEO considerations, and documentation that supports both the immediate Bozeman launch and a scalable model for future conferences (such as a potential BSides Missoula).
