Project Title Building Agri-Trak's Social Media Asset Library
Project Topics Marketing
Skills & Expertise graphic design marketing
Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity
Agri-Trak is dedicated to enhancing the agricultural experience for growers and food producers through innovative software solutions. The company excels at developing technology that aids farmers in optimizing their operations, but it currently faces a significant challenge in effectively communicating its story and values through social media. Despite having a compelling narrative rooted in community engagement and support for growers, Agri-Trak lacks a cohesive and reusable library of social media assets to consistently share this message across multiple platforms. This gap results in missed opportunities for engagement, brand awareness, and customer loyalty, ultimately diminishing the impact of their marketing efforts.
Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required
  1. Key activities for this project will include initial research to understand Agri-Trak’s mission, values, and target audience, followed by brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts for social media content.
  2. Students will then utilize industry standard tools to create a range of content formats, emphasizing storytelling through visuals and messaging. They will collaborate in small groups or individually to ensure diverse perspectives and ideas are incorporated into the campaign.
  3. Regular feedback sessions with Agri-Trak stakeholders will guide the iterative design process, ensuring that content aligns with the company’s branding and strategic goals. Finally, students will organize the content library by platform and theme, providing captions and posting schedules to facilitate future use.
Project Synopsis: Expected Results
The project will be considered a success if it results in a well-organized, on-brand library of reusable social media content that Agri-Trak can deploy consistently across platforms. This library will strengthen our ability to tell the Agri-Trak story clearly—who we serve, the problems we solve for farms, and the impact of our technology—while reducing the ongoing time required to create content from scratch.

From a measurable standpoint, success includes the following SMART goals:

  • Content Creation: Build a minimum of 75–100 finished social media assets (graphics, short videos, captions, and/or templates) organized by theme (education, product awareness, customer impact, industry insights).

  • Brand Alignment: 100% of assets meet established brand guidelines and messaging standards after one review cycle.

  • Usability: At least 80% of the content is immediately usable or requires only light editing before publication.

  • Efficiency Gain: Reduce internal content creation time by at least 50% over the following quarter.

  • Student Learning Outcomes: Students gain hands-on experience in B2B storytelling, ag-technology marketing, and data-driven content creation, producing portfolio-ready work tied to real business outcomes.
Ultimately, success means creating long-term value: a scalable content foundation for Agri-Trak and practical, real-world experience for students contributing to a mission-driven ag-technology company.
