My name is Hsin Ting Tsai, I had been working as production support in a software company before coming to graduate school. It is a domestic company that provide software that support internal employee training and maintain working certificate for certain business. My clients are very diverse, from hospitality, banking, manufacturing and technical industry etc.
My first duty is to resolve issues with the systems or mobile applications. This duty trains my ability to find out what is the real problem the client is trying to resolve and what solution should I provide to solve a problem. Sometimes an issue can be solved through a phone call but sometimes it will escalate and become a customize project. My second duty is to lead the project when client has a new business requirement that require to customize the current software. This process and duty really encourage me to think outside the box and comes up with solutions to discuss with both the client and engineer teams. It vastly enhanced my communication, coordination, and leadership. It also gave me an opportunity to work with all departments including finance, sales, human resource, administration, and other service department.
