Silvestro "Sly" Manente is a retired U.S. Navy SeaBees veteran with a distinguished 20-year career, including two tours in the Kuwait/Iraq and numerous deployments around the world. Following his retirement from military service, he pursued higher education at Post University's Malcolm Baldridge School of Business, where he achieved a bachelor’s degree in management and completed his MBA in June 2023.
He currently teaches on our main campus, where he came to our attention for the open position in the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Sly has had experience in starting new enterprises, including his own consulting business focused on assisting gyms and personal trainers with marketing and managing fitness teams to boost revenue. Serving as the Operations Director and Event Manager for Ammo Fight League and Top-Level Pro Grappling, both regional combat sports promotions operating in Connecticut and Massachusetts, Sly has gained massive experience in how to sell.
Sly's dedication to physical fitness extends beyond his professional endeavors, as he is an active competitor in Strongman competitions and Scottish Highland Games, showcasing his strength and athleticism in these demanding sports.
